TOtT – On The Tip Of The Tongue

The project TOtT – On The Tip Of The Tongue is conceived as a mutual training program between two cultural institutions: MUBA – Museo dei Bambini di Milano and Muzeiko in Sofia. The initiative addresses two main themes: on the one hand, the active involvement of teenagers in museum activities; on the other, the design and production of interactive workshops through collaboration between artists and museum staff.

The central objective of the project is the definition of shared guidelines to support both co-design processes and logistical and production aspects, with the aim of creating flexible formats that are easily replicable in different contexts and transportable—ideally “in a suitcase.”

The project is structured in two phases. The first phase is dedicated to training, carried out so far online and through an in-person meeting in Milan; the final live training session took place in Sofia in September 2025. The second phase involves the co-design of workshops, which will be developed and tested with groups of high school students in Milan and Sofia.

MUBA collaborates with the artist Stefano Fiorina, while Muzeiko works with the collective Space Foundation, both active in the fields of visual arts, sculpture, and set design.

The project will conclude with an online round table, during which artists, museum professionals, and participants will reflect on the outcomes and the shared experience.
