REMIDA Milano Creative reuse center (12month - 5 years old)

After an initial welcoming moment, the educators encourage the children's play process and set up the space in a functional manner for the exploration of materials.

Each family has the opportunity to move freely in the space according to the children's time and interests.

Rubbers, coloured fabrics, plastics and sensory areas are available to foster the development of cognitive, motor and creative skills.

REMIDA Milano offers a variety of materials recovered from factories, carefully selected and set up to engage children aged 12 months to 5 years. 

At REMIDA Milano, the play experience involves adults and children together, and takes place without the use of shoes!

REMIDA, conceived in Reggio Emilia in 1996, is a project of the "Istituzione Nidi e Scuole d'Infanzia del Comune di Reggio Emilia" and "Iren Emilia", managed by the Fondazione Reggio Children - Centro Loris Malaguzzi. Around this experience, the REMIDA network  was born, which today consists of 11 centers around the world, of which REMIDA MILAN  is a part.  

Since 2010, REMIDA Milano has been the centre of creative reuse of corporate waste materials, a place for research and experimentation of deconstructed material as an educational, cultural and relational mediator.

REMIDA Milano 12 months to 5 years old awaits you:

• Friday 13rd December 2024: entrance at 5 p.m.
• Saturday 14th December 2024: entrances at 10 a.m. | 11.30 a.m. | 2.30 p.m. | 4 p.m.
• Thursday 26th December 2024: entrances at 10 a.m. | 11.30 a.m. | 2.30 p.m. | 4 p.m.
• Saturday 28th Sunday 29th December 2024: entrances at 10 a.m. | 11.30 a.m. | 2.30 p.m. | 4 p.m.
• Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th and Monday 6th January 2025: entrances at 10 a.m. | 11.30 a.m. | 2.30 p.m. | 4 p.m.

Tickets for Remida 12 mesi - 5 anni activity in January are available from Friday 27th December at 10 am. 

Tickets go on sale month by month.

• Does the set-up change?
  The set-up and materials change around two months, with the possibility of changes based on the scrap that is sourced from the companies.
• Can children under the specified minimum age participate?
  It is strongly discouraged to allow a child under the minimum age to participate in the activity, as the set-up is specially designed for ages 12 months - 5 years. 
  A child under the recommended age who accompanies a family member in the target group will not be required to purchase an entrance ticket but may only participate as an accompanying person. 
  To make the visit easier, it may be helpful for you to use a baby carrier to carry your younger child.
• Do you have other dates on your calendar?
  MUBA publishes activities once a month.
  We invite you to subscribe to the newsletter so that you are always up-to-date on upcoming dates or check the calendar on the website.
• Can children or adults enter alone?
  The presence of at least one adult for every 3 children is mandatory. Adults are responsible for the children they accompany. Adults who do not accompany children will not be admitted to the activities.
