Laboratorio MuseOpera: Una Lady Macbeth del distretto di Mcensk

IL LABORATORIO

To mark the opening of the 2025/2026 theatre season at La Scala with Dmitri Shostakovich's Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District, the Lilopera Association is offering an in-depth exploration of the opera for children and their families at the MUBA.

The activity is divided into two parts:

- first part: narration of the plot of the opera Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District with the aid of images, videos and a live musician. In-depth analysis of the instruments that make up the orchestra and the operatic vocal registers, an opportunity to introduce children to the characters in the story.

- second part: practical workshop activity involving painting sketches of the costumes and sets of the opera to learn more about the characters and places in the story.

With these ingredients, it offers a variety of activities tailored to its target audience, allowing them to discover the arts and crafts that have given rise to a level of excellence that is the envy of the world.

“Sono migliaia i bambini che nel corso di questi anni hanno riso, giocato, scoperto e imparato con le mostre del MUBA, costruendo una storia corale. A raccontarla oggi sono le persone che questo museo lo hanno immaginato, alimentato, visto nascere, sostenuto e studiato, facendolo crescere tutti insieme.”
